Disco
Where possible we prefer to use original CDs through industry standard Numark dual CD decks which ensure high quality sound.
We do use digital files as well to ensure we have enough of a collection for people to request songs. It is also more convenient that bringing our entire CD collection to every gig.
The disco sound rig is described below.
Our lighing consists of standard modern units like the one illustrated here. In addition we now have genuine 'retro' units from the 80's for themed nights.
PA / Disco Sound System
It took many months of searching and listening to speaker systems in to track down the most transparent and punchy full range speaker cabinets you are likely to hear. The NYSM system has to be heard to appreciate the clarity of sound it can deliver. We use a single pair or two pairs of full range cabinets (350 watts each) depending on room size as standard and 'bi-amp' 2 or 4 long throw folded-horn bins to add extra bottom end punch in larger venues.

In small venues we use powered mixer desks (1200 watt) and add extra bass cabinets as required.
We carry back-up amplifiers and mixing desks in the unlikely event of breakdown.
We are PAT Tested and have Public Liability Insurance
